CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Pinball Prototyping: 3D Printing - 3D Printing is an emerging technology that can be used for creating various Pinball game components. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of various types of 3D Printing, and the workflow for sending a 3D model to to a Makerbot 3D Replicator 3D Printer. The class is in association with FAST Pinball. Come ready to learn and take a small print home.

Pinball Prototyping: Laser Cutting - Laser Cutters are a great way to create acrylic railings and other components to customize a game. In this class you will learn the processes of sending a 2D design files to a CNC Laser Cutter. FabLab will demonstrate machine setup, and discuss the logistics of cutting different materials. All class participants will leave with mini laser cut pinball machine. The class is in association with FAST Pinball. Come ready to learn and make.

Pinball Prototyping: CNC Router - In this one hour workshop FabLab will demonstrate how to set up a CNC Shopbot Router to cut playfields. We will provide the designs and a take home instructions for setting up tool paths and machine setup. FabLab will cover the importance of tool paths, various bits, and materials. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to be successful when creating components on a CNC Router. This class is in association with FAST Pinball. Come ready to learn and make.
